The test of discovering the truth (we’ll talk more about that tomorrow) is easy compared to the test of living the truth.
To know the truth requires only curiosity and a moment of courage. To live the truth, however, requires skill and a lifetime of courage.
We have terms for people who know the truth but don't act on it, who preach truths they don't live. You know many of these terms. None of them are terms you want associated with your name or character.
The truths we know but don't live create three personal pains. The first is our disconnection from the truth. The second is recognizing we knew it but didn't do it. The third is noticing it was in our control the whole time.
Knowing the truth is only the start and where the real work begins of living the truth.
Brick by brick. Do the work.
