The answer is not to immerse yourself in pain, discomfort, or problems but to engage in them with strategic and productive discipline. Process the pain. Embrace the discomfort. Work on the problems.
Don’t get caught in a behavior pattern of trying so hard to avoid something that you unintentionally create more of it.
