1. Discovering the truth because you tried your best.
2. Wondering what the truth would have been if you had tried your best.

When making decisions, ask yourself, "Will this lead to me discovering the truth? Or will it lead to me wondering what the truth could have been?"

You'll eventually end up in one of these two places, not by chance, but by choice.
