Look at everything in your life. Every thought, emotion, experience, task, item, relationship, decision, status, and circumstance.

Now draw a line.

To one side, push away the things you won’t be responsible for: the things you’re unable to control or decide you’re unable to influence, the things you’re unwilling to put the required effort into, and the things you accept as they are without disruption or complaint.

To the other, pull close the things you will be responsible for: the things only you control or you decide you can influence, the things you want to contribute towards, and the things you don’t accept as they are because they can improve.

The things in your life aren’t always up to you. Where you draw your line is.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
