Why we must embrace the dark side of our purpose

To pursue a calling is to turn away from other things. To pursue a calling is to accept those who will criticize it or you. To pursue a calling is to be uncommon and commit yourself beyond what is normal. To pursue a calling is to follow a path only you might see.

If we want the light of our calling, we must accept the shadows that come with it.
