Explain — only to yourself — why you think what you think, why you believe what you believe. Like I said yesterday, this is a self-awareness exercise for living in truth.
Do this honestly and you’ll realize the difference between rock solid beliefs you’ve wrestled with and chosen vs shaky beliefs you’ve absorbed. These are the ones you didn’t choose, but adopted from your environment, most likely from the people in it. We all do. We just don’t want it to stay that way.
Dangerous behavior flows from beliefs people absorb for reasons they don’t understand.
When you identify a belief you’ve absorbed, decide if you want to choose it and why you’re choosing it. Or discard it and choose a belief that better fits you and your needs.
Embrace the chase. Do the work.
