1% bad can overshadow 99% good

It doesn't take a storm of mistakes to ruin a good thing. Sometimes, it only takes one cloud, one mistake, in an otherwise blue sky.

One mistake of the wrong kind, at the wrong time, in the wrong place. Harsh realities like this are the hardest lessons to learn.

A shadow is a shadow, even when the sun shines everywhere else. If the shadow falls on something that requires sunlight, that shadow has consequences, though it may come from the only cloud in the sky.

Brick by brick. Do the work.
