If it weren’t for doubt, difficulty, criticism, mistakes, failure, and complexity a lot of the world, and a lot in your life, would look different. But these realities are here to stay and make their presence known in your life one way or another.

So here’s a little “What if . . .” creative exercise for you to think about:

  1. What if each time doubt enters your mind, you counter it with the exact opposite perspective?
  2. What if each time something gets difficult, you bring more discipline?
  3. What if each time you receive criticism, you commit to learn something about yourself from it?
  4. What if each time you make a mistake, intentionally or accidentally, you own it without defensiveness?
  5. What if each time you fail, you are your biggest supporting voice?
  6. What if each time something gets complex, you simplify it down to the next immediate productive thing you can do?

If you find any of these compelling, don’t leave your answers to die in the wasteland of good ideas you didn’t act on.

Implement. Apply. Act. If the idea is worthy, turn it into execution now.

Everything is training for something. Do the work.
