Evaluate your relationship with comfort

Most people crave comfort or are content with it.

They crave comfort when they don’t have it. They are content to stay comfortable when they do have it.

It results in a cycle that looks like this:
Crave it. Get it. Grow content in it. Lose it. Crave it. Round and round the cycle goes.

The key is to stay out of this cycle and build a better relationship with comfort: Never crave it. Never become content with it.

Those two commitments solve a lot of problems.

Enjoy comfort when you get it, but don’t demand it or expect it. You will have it when you have it, and you won’t when you won’t. That’s life.

Brick by brick. Do the work.
