Fear is valuable information

Fear is a signal. Sometimes the signal is a message you need to hear. Other times the signal is noise you need filter out. If you don’t understand the information being signaled by your fear, you might miss the message and focus on the noise.

When you feel fear, ask yourself:

  1. What does it want me to be aware of?
  2. What does it want me to protect?
  3. What does it want me to do?

Don’t ignore fear. Understand it as information. Decide whether it’s an important message or unimportant noise. Focus on the message and filter out the noise.

Do the work.
