How you speak to people has consequences.

Turn your attention for a minute to your inner voice. That constant stream of thoughts running through your head. The one only you hear. Only you know.

That’s the most important conversation you’ll ever have. The one you have with yourself. But it’s also the one you get the least feedback about because no one hears it but you.

When you talk to other people, for the most part, you have a sense of how they receive what you’re saying. If you’re mean, hurtful, and quick to judge, people will fight back or avoid you. If you’re kind, helpful, and quick to support, people will appreciate or attract to you.

The relationship consequences for how you speak to people and treat them are obvious. Remember that in your conversation and relationship with yourself too.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
