I like sports because I’m a competitor. But I love sports because they teach us lessons for life. The true power of sports is the experiences they give to us, the behaviors they demand from us, and the beliefs they instill in us.

At the end of the season, the trophy isn’t given to the most talented team. Talent puts you in a position to win, but it doesn’t close the deal. Trophies go to the teams who earn them. Rings only go on the hands of deserving men and women.
