This may sound counterintuitive.

I create a lot of content. I appreciate every email you read, every video you watch, every post you share. And I feel compelled to clarify something with you.

Don’t ever mistake consuming content with doing the work. Books, emails, podcasts, presentations, and every other form of content are tools. Your mission is not to collect tools in your display case. Your mission is to build something strong, stable, and worthy.

‪If you want to feel like you're getting things done, seek motivation and look for more content. If you want to get things done, put the content aside and put the tools to use.‬

Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
