Press Pause and use the E+R=O Mindset
The entry point for applying systematic discipline needs to be quick, simple, and direct.
E+R=O is deceptively simple. In my experience, the most valuable tools are the simple ones that scale across wide contexts, from the easiest to the hardest.
My goal when I teach E+R=O is the same as my goal when I apply it. The first and highest priority is to execute it well. That’s always the main thing. The second priority is to execute it well in increasingly difficult settings and higher stakes situations. Finally, the third objective is to execute it well in challenging situations with speed.
Early use may be limited and slow, but continue stretching yourself. Push further, aim higher, work faster. Every E+R=O improvement you make creates an advantage — either competitively or in creating the best version of you.
Embrace the chase. Do the work.
