What are you “supposed” to do?

When you understand discipline is a choice and not something you’re “supposed” to do, you move from away from following someone else’s path and toward creating your own.

Confusion stems from thinking someone else gives you discipline, sets your standards, or knows the right path.

There’s no shortage of advice or advice givers. It gets confusing which advice is worthwhile and worth following.

The truth is discipline means choosing for yourself. The direction. The standards. The effort level. The responsibility. Welcoming the consequences and adjusting accordingly.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
