What is personal trumps what is policy

Most of us operate within teams. Most teams operate within bigger organizations. However small your team or big your organization, what is personal trumps what is policy. Culture isn’t built and strategy isn’t executed by proclaiming policy. It is only done through personal practice. Individual> Team > Organization.

A team’s capacity is mostly determined by personal willingness to do the work required, not by the environment, the competition, or the resources. Institutional limitations are rooted in personal limitations. Individual BCD has organizational consequences, as does individual resolution and resilience. Personal discipline drives organizational execution. Always has, always will.

Do the work.
