Why people get “closed-minded”.

A humble person will consider alternative perspectives, even when their results have been excellent. On the other hand, an arrogant person will not, even when their results have been average.

A closed mind is the consequence of arrogance. An open mind is the consequence of humility.

You can have a high level of confidence and keep an open mind because humility doesn't threaten confidence. Humility increases confidence. That gained confidence, in turn, promotes more humility. They amplify one another.

Only arrogance or insecurity feels threatened by humility. If you have a high level of arrogance or insecurity, your mind will close in an attempt to protect your ego.

Where your mind is closed, ego and arrogance have their hold. Where your mind is open, humility is thriving.

Answer the call. Do the work.
