Win or Lose, What’s Next?

This is not an attempt to define winning and losing or a suggestion that everything is a competition. Set those thoughts aside. Just use anything you feel as a win and anything you feel as a loss. These happen every day, and throughout your life, in big and small ways.

The feeling of winning or losing is heavily influenced by context, mindset, and experience. It’s getting married vs divorced, first class vs coach, pay raise vs pay cut, promotion vs status quo. You decide.

The objective is to improve your awareness and understanding of how you respond to perceived wins and losses in your life. Who you are, how you think, and what you do after you win or lose is just as important as everything that leads to that outcome in the first place. Maybe more important.

Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
