I have three principles to share with you today, three truths I believe are timely reminders for all of us. You may find them useful for something particular in your life.
What you do or don't contribute to a situation is no one else's choice but yours.
You can't control someone else's contribution to a situation. You can control your own.
You may not be able to change anyone else's contribution, but you can change your own.
These truths do not change based on how you feel. They do not apply less when you think you're right and someone else is wrong. When situations feel high stakes and emotional, these become even more relevant and important.
Brick by brick. Do the work.
