Are you as good now as you’ll ever be?

Pick an important part of your life, preferably one of the roles or responsibilities you have: husband, wife, mom, dad, son, daughter, brother sister, women’s soccer head coach, HR executive, west coast regional sales rep, 3rd-grade math teacher, junior IT staff support, etc.

Are you as good at that right now as you’ll ever be? Take 30-seconds and just honestly answer — yes or no?

If the answer is yes, what does that mean for you and the people who rely on you?
If the answer is no, what does that mean for you and the people who rely on you?

Now write down all your most important roles and responsibilities. Ask and answer the exact same questions for each one. See what comes out of 30 minutes of deep, self-aware reflection.

What did this little exercise clarify or make you realize?

Do the work.
