Dealing with random luck in life

Everything happens for a reason. In a world as big, complex, and interconnected as ours, that reason is frequently random luck. It’s not good or bad, for you or against you, personal or preferential. It just happens.

Factors beyond our grasp shape our lives. Forces outside our control alter our path. Luck and randomness are real. As real as our responsibility to deal with what they deliver to us.

Sometimes bad news meets bad timing. The winds of fortune carry you down a dark passage. Sometimes good news meets good timing. The winds of fortune propel you in a favorable direction.

Winds of fortune don’t play favorites and no wind blows forever. Winds change. They always change.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
