Feelings are not final. You have choice.

We are not biologically bound to act on what we feel. You may not realize how unique that truth is or how essential it is to understand.

You are not biologically bound to act on what you feel.

Your feelings are one thing. Your choices are another. You can choose to act differently than you feel. There's an obvious interplay between your feelings and choices. They inform and communicate with each other. But they're separate things.

You must remember and access that awareness when you feel any emotion, particularly a strong emotion. Awareness opens the door to discipline. Lack of awareness locks the door.

Whether you act in alignment with what you feel in a given moment or in opposition to it is up to you. The point is that you are not a mindless robot obeying the code input by your emotions.

Your choices have a role and power equal to — sometimes greater than — your emotions.

The time is now. Do the work.
