Find Gratitude In Your Pain

Gratitude is usually attached to the things we enjoy. We look for good things to be grateful for, especially those we overlook at times.

It’s not just good things that are worth showing gratitude. Pain provides perspective. Setbacks provide humility. Absence provides hunger.

Give thanks for the pain that has served you. Especially for the people who hurt you, who wronged you, who doubted you, and who set you back. Be grateful for the fire it created inside you that led you to something better. Without it, you would undoubtedly be different.

Be grateful for the good things in your life and remember to find gratitude in your pain too.

Everything is training for something. Do the work.
