Not all circumstances are created equal. Within the utility of E+R=O (Event + Response = Outcome) is the reality that some events have greater impact than others. Events don’t determine outcomes, but they certainly impact them.
Some events present an easier path to winning than others. Some events demand more skill than others. Some events expand specific opportunities and others constrain them. Some events unfold as you might expect and others unfold in ways you never expected.
Every event asks something of you in response and some place a heavier demand on you than others. Where this becomes a particularly differentiating factor is in the face of constraining, disruptive, unchangeable events.
There are people who will wait for these events to change for things to get better and there are people who will change their response to make things better within these events.
Decide which person you want to be when your circumstances are stacked against you: the one who helplessly waits or the one who actively works.
