People respond differently depending on the circumstance. A courageous person in one context can be a coward in the next. A distracted person in one environment can be focused in another.

Context always plays a role. In E+R=O terms, your response is always happening within the context of an outcome you want and an event you’re experiencing. Don’t make the mistake of believing you’re above the influence of context because you’re not.

But you decide what guides you within every context. Here are three scenarios that have derailed people throughout history:

  1. What guides your response during intense crisis?
  2. What guides your response during idle time?
  3. What guides your response during major success?

How do you train yourself to handle these situations?
