Let’s move through frustration to earn what you want

Building a new skill, whether from scratch or on top of existing skills, is frustrating. It’s an inevitable and inescapable path within the process. But a whole new world hides behind that frustration you feel.

Frustration comes from everything you want to do but can’t do yet. In front of the frustration is inability matched with indecision. Behind the frustration is confidence matched with precision.

If you’re going to build a valuable skill you will be in front of frustration for a while. Probably longer than you’d like. In my experience, the more valuable the skill, the longer the frustration. The question is whether you’ll do the work to earn what’s behind the frustration. Many don’t. The deserving do.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
