Make friends and haters on-purpose.

You have two choices :

  1. Be the most intentional version of yourself according to the standards you believe in, knowing some people won’t like you for it, and accept that.
  2. Be any version of yourself that tries to do what gains approval and avoids rejection according to the opinions of others.

The first seeks approval and worthiness in the only place it can be found — on the inside.

The second seeks it in places it can never be found — on the outside.

If you’re the best version of yourself, and you love that version, what does it matter what anyone thinks?

Everything is training for something. Do the work.
