The expensive road to wisdom

Had a conversation with a trusted friend recently who told me, “BK, wisdom is expensive. You have to pay a price to get it. There’s no other way. Any wisdom I have now cost me a lot to get and it wasn’t cheap. The same will be true for you. You will pay a heavy price for the wisdom you gain from this point forward.”

Trials and tests and challenges on your path aren’t obstacles to be avoided. If you choose to pay the expensive toll, all the way through, they are the road to wisdom.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
