In life you invest assets you can’t ever lose (energy, attention, effort, courage). The asset you do lose (time) is more lost to fear, doubt, and hesitation than to dreams, opportunities, and pursuits of purpose.
A common fear that traps people for years is ending up with nothing tangible to show for the time and energy they invested.
If that’s going to happen in your future, at least use your time in pursuit of a worthy purpose and not in fear attempting to escape risk.
They may both miss their mark, but one tried when the other hid. One stepped up when the other stepped down.
Each one leads to a much different place. Each one shapes you into a much different person.
