The Scream and The Whisper

Many things scream at you in life. Others whisper.

The screams attack your senses and try to drown out what whispers. They try to control your attention to steer your decisions.

The whispers make their presence known, but make no effort to force you to follow their direction. Whispers make you aware, but leave you to decide.

What screams wants to control. What whispers wants to communicate. What screams tries to overwhelm with force. What whispers tries to reveal what is true.

Truth rarely screams. It doesn’t have to. It’s secure in place, presence, and endurance. So, it whispers its message. Everything else is noise that screams.

The whisper of discipline opposes the scream of default. You can always hear the scream, but you must listen for the whisper.

Don’t let the screams of your lower self drown out the whispers coming from your higher self.

Event + Response = Outcome. Do the work.
