You’ll feel lost and confused. You’ll feel pain and frustration. You’ll feel like lowering your standards of discipline or giving up entirely.

When you acknowledge the certainty of this experience, you will not be surprised when you feel it. You will expect it. You will be more prepared for it.

You can’t escape the feeling. You can control how you respond to it.

Answer the call. Do the work.
