Today’s Attention + Today’s Energy

If you are creating habits, don’t aim for ease and automation. Focus on improving speed and skill. Increase intention and effort, efficiency comes later.

 

I wrote about this in January and it’s worth reinforcing today.

 

Discipline isn’t a possession. It’s not a habit you have. It’s an intention you choose and action you do. It doesn’t get easier. You get better.

 

Discipline has to be renewed daily. It’s a 24 hour variable. Today’s choices get today’s attention. Today’s action gets today’s energy. Be the best you today.

 

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
