WARNING: High Standards Will Make People Angry

If you choose a high standard intentionally and live it, you will anger some people. It doesn’t matter what standard you choose. Some people in your life won’t like it.

If you avoid setting and living a high standard because you don’t want to make people angry, you will only succeed in lowering your value and angering a different group of people.

It’s not your responsibility to live standards that satisfy other people’s expectations and emotions.

It’s your responsibility to live standards that create the experiences and impact you want to have.

How other people feel about your standards is their weight to carry. Don’t make it your burden.

Choose your standards based on the principles you believe in not the opinions people have of them.

Live the standards you choose based on the positive impact they have not based on acceptance.

Everything is training for something. Do the work.
