How do we explain the gap between the amount of information taught and the level of skill people demonstrate?

Some people don’t understand because they don’t read, listen, and watch.
Some people don’t understand because they don’t study, they just consume.
Some people study but don’t apply.
Some people apply but don’t practice.
Some people practice but don’t practice with focus and discipline.
Some people practice with focus and discipline but only a few times.
Some people want to only practice because they’re afraid to step into the arena.
Some people step into the arena and blame something or someone else if it doesn’t go well.

I know it’s easy to see where other people’s gaps are but direct your attention and energy to bridging your own gaps.

Everything is training for something. Do the work.
