I pay careful attention to the world. I’m an intense observer. What I see are so many of the same patterns repeated over and over again in success, failure, progress, and regression.
The world still runs on old truths, not new ones. Discipline is more reliable than talent. Humility is more secure than ego. Courage is more productive than fear.
The most reliable personal skills today are the same as they were 100, 500, or 5,000 years ago. The personal pitfalls are the same too.
Focus is more valuable than distraction. Responsibility is more useful than blame. Self-awareness is more profitable than self-deception.
New times don’t mean new truths. Stay connected to the old and secure your life on a foundation of timeless truth.
Embrace the chase. Do the work.
As you observe the world, what old truths are still as reliable and impactful today as they have ever been?
