What do outcomes say about our decisions?

Just because it didn't work doesn't mean you were wrong. Great decisions aren't the only variable for producing outstanding outcomes.

The relationship between decisions and results is imperfect. Your best chance for excellent results begins, of course, with great choices. You always want to make the best decision, but not all great decisions produce great results. There are no guarantees. A bad outcome does not necessarily indicate you made the wrong decision.

You will make quality choices that don't play out or pay off as expected. A lot happens between making a decision and realizing the outcome of that decision. There are factors within your control that affect results, and many factors beyond your control.

Remind yourself to separate the quality of your decisions from the quality of your outcomes. Evaluate each separately.

The time is now. Do the work.
