Add flexibility into your discipline

The generic view of discipline sees it as strict adherence to rigid rules. The wise understanding of discipline sees it as an adjustable strategy for living high standards.

The generic view of discipline is narrow. The wise understanding of discipline is more expansive.

Flexibility is essential to the effectiveness of your discipline. Standards don't flex. Styles and strategies must. One style does not work in all situations. One strategy does not work forever. Neither does one tactic.

If you can't or won't adjust your style, strategy, approach, or tactic, your discipline's effectiveness will be limited.

Discipline without flexibility will break. Discipline with flexibility produces better results across more situations and endures longer.

Brick by brick. Do the work.
