The common approach is not the path for you. Every form of greatness is uncommon. Whether it shows up as a husband or wife, mom or dad, 5th grade teacher, senior volleyball player, Division-1 coach, veteran fire-fighter, or small business CEO. Simple, but uncommon, disciplines are always the path to greatness.
- When it’s uncomfortable, keep practicing. How else will you get comfortable?
- When you can’t see progress, keep working. How else will you improve?
- When you’re losing, keep competing. How else will you start winning?
Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
