Create consistency in your personal development

The best way to get better at anything is to do it consistently. Not perfectly, just frequently and consistently. When you’re doing work on behavior skills — like patience, discipline, empathy, listening, etc — that frequency and consistency looks like daily or weekly effort.

Think of it like your favorite TV show. You watch it every week, either live or DVR, but you always watch it. The important ones you probably know what day and time they’re on and you watch live. If you miss it, you catch up. It’s just part of your week. You don’t overthink it, you don’t overplan it, but you always do it.

Transfer the exact mindset and habit you have with your favorite TV shows to improve the frequency and consistency of your personal skill building effort. It’s scheduled, but it’s flexible, and one way or another it’s going to get done.

Do The Work.
