Do the work. All of it.

More often than not, when someone doesn’t have what they want, it’s because they haven’t done the work to earn it. They either haven’t done the necessary work, haven’t done it well enough, or haven’t done it long enough.

Observe how often people want things without having to do the work. All the work. They might do some of the work but expect all of the reward. They may do great work but only for a brief time.

The gap between where you are and what you’re striving for is accelerated through work. The right kind of work, at the right skill, for enough time.

Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
