This is obviously not true. I understand the intent, but it’s more misleading than useful. How I played football doesn’t work for playing golf. How I compete in business isn’t how I interact with my wife. How I connect with one person is not the way I connect with everyone.

Context matters. How you do one thing is not the best way to do the next thing. Context can change everything. Self-awareness, humility, and flexibility help you recognize context and adjust to bring smart standards to the moment you’re in.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
