“I just don’t have time to do it.”

It takes just as much time to be average as it takes to be excellent. You may think it will take too long to achieve some desirable vision in your mind, but that time will pass either way.

You're going to do something in the next 12 months which will have consequences. Serious consequences. Whether you fill it with excellence or excuses, intentional effort or autopilot routines, is up to you.

It's not an issue of time. It doesn't take more time to bring high standards into your life. It takes the same time as low standards. The difference isn't the time it takes.

The difference is what gets produced in the time that passes. So you can spend this week pushing yourself and your standards higher, or you can spend this week accepting lower standards and emotional justifications.

They take the same amount of time. Next Tuesday will arrive on schedule no matter what you do. It's not the amount of time. It's what you fill your time with and how you use it.

Answer the call. Do the work.
