Integrity check: does your discipline match your desire?

Simplicity is the foundation of execution. That also makes it the foundation of accomplishment. To understand something, especially in yourself, start with simplicity.

A great place to start is the relationship between your desire and your discipline. Desire without discipline is useless. Want without work is empty. The relationship between these two things tilts the balance of happiness and success in a person’s life.

You can lower your desires to match your discipline. Or you can build up your discipline to match your desires. Both approaches work. Both lead to fulfillment. Both lead to accomplishment. Both have integrity.

Embrace the chase. Do the work.
