When people say "Good-to-Great" they talk about it like a transition. It's not a transition. It's a huge gap.
There’s incredible time spent and effort required between good and great. Once you’ve left good, let it go, cut your ties. But you're not great yet. You're somewhere in between.
Lost, confused, uncertain, looking for direction or confirmation or approval or guarantees or any sign that says, "I'm going in the right direction. This is going to pay off. I made the right decision."
If you want great you have to be willing to walk away from good.
Discipline is the shortcut. Do the work.
