Two of a kind, working on a full house

Play the hand you’re dealt. You can’t play cards you don’t have. You may want a hand with a pair of aces but if all you have are twos, fours, and fives, that’s the hand you have to play until you acquire better cards.

To acquire better cards, you have to play your existing cards with discipline and skill. This bothers some people.

They see other people holding different cards, playing those cards successfully, and believe their success is due to their cards rather than the skill of the player holding those cards.

A skilled player knows that the player matters more than the cards. You’re holding cards capable of a winning hand. Play them well.
