Most of our problems stem from an inability or unwillingness to provide the necessary response for the event we’re dealing with to earn the outcome we want.

Your ability and willingness to respond must match the full range of events you might experience—certainly the Events you will experience.

In E+R=O terms: Your R must be willing and able to handle the range of E’s you might deal with. And it must be willing and able to do what’s required to produce the range of O’s you’re responsible for delivering within any of E’s.

You know events are going to test you. Prepare your ability and willingness to meet them with resolve.
