There are two options: execution or excuses.

Think of execution as doing the work that needs to be done, whatever that is. It could be work in any form: mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, relational, personal, organizational, etc.

Think of excuses as the reasons you use to avoid doing work. If you’re not executing, then you’re wrapped up in excuses. Even what feels justified is an excuse if it keeps you from acting to improve yourself or your circumstances.

Keep it clear and straightforward. You’re either doing the work or not doing the work. It’s execution or excuses.

Answer the call. Do the work.
