It’s not a tool with selective application. E+R=O applies whether you use it or not. Whether you see it or not. Whether you like it or not.
The natural starting point is seeing it as a tool for specific situations like handling adversity, sudden changes, or leading in uncertainty But everything shifts when you realize E+R=O applies relentlessly to every situation.
Does gravity stop working when you don’t think about it?
No.
Does gravity stop affecting you when you ignore it?
Not at all.
E+R=O works the same way.
Someone who’s never heard of E+R=O still lives under the cause & effect laws of its principles. They still don’t control events. They still choose their responses. Their responses still create outcomes.
E+R=O happens either way.
Someone who has heard of E+R=O but ignores it also lives under its principles. Just not intentionally.
E+R=O has only one limiting factor: your willingness to apply it and build skill with it.
You can’t opt out of E+R=O anymore than you can opt out of gravity. You can only choose whether you use it skillfully or let it run your life blindly.
