You’re moving too slow

Discipline is the shortcut, and simplicity is speed. The only times you don't want speed of action and results are when disaster risk is high, when you need other people to come with you, or when there is value in a slow and long journey, such as savoring an experience.

It takes as long as it needs to take, but it doesn't need to take longer.

If you can reliably shorten the time necessary to create quality outcomes by turning up your discipline, then do it. There is no virtue in unnecessarily lengthening your timeline to produce results.

Answer the call. Do the work.
