Discipline isn't always innate. It doesn't make itself easily accessible every time we need it.

We need to know how to activate our discipline when necessary. Here are 13 questions that will help you do that:

  1. What am I trying to accomplish?
  2. What do I want most?
  3. What do I care about?
  4. What do I not care about?
  5. What is the highest excellence I am capable of?
  6. How do I choose my standards?
  7. Who do my actions impact?
  8. Why would I not give my maximum effort?
  9. Where will I be in 5 years if I make no meaningful improvements?
  10. How much time do I have left to fulfill my purpose?
  11. When will I make definitive decisions on the things I'm avoiding?
  12. Who do I truly want to be?
  13. How do I become a better version of that person?

The time is now. Do the work.
